"A" Racing Team is a Spokane Valley, Washington based circle track auto racing team. Started in 2003 by Terry Armstrong Sr. and Mel Auckerman, "A" Racing Team is celebrating over 15 years of racing excellence, with the torch now being carried by 2nd generation drivers Terry Armstrong Jr and Terry Auckerman AND 3rd generation driver Austin Auckerman.
Terry Sr began racing in 1975 in the Street Stock class and rapidly found his way into the Super Stock Class, quickly establishing himself as a crowd favorite and weekly race winning challenger.
Beginning in 2000, Terry Jr. got behind the wheel and immediately showed that he had the "stuff", winning many races and a class championship in the Roadrunner Division.
In 2003 Terry Auckerman got into the action, winning the Roadrunner Championship in his first year. Since then he has become a front runner in the Fever 4 Division, racing in memory of his dad Mel, who passed away on 2010.
In 2010 Austin Auckerman got behind the wheel in the Roadrunner Class and beginning in 2012 began racing full time in the Fever 4 Division. Austin is currently taking a break from racing to focus on school as he finishes his Senior season at West Valley High School in Spokane, Wa. and prepares for college.
In the last 10 years "A" Racing Team has established itself as favorites in everything from Roadrunners, Fever 4, Late Models, Modifieds and their signature Co-Driven Northwest Early Stock.
